A part of the Washington Composers Forum 25th Anniversary Concert event.

Jack Straw Productions and Washington Composers Forum present a 25th Anniversary Concert in conjunction with the Transport series. The concert of world and regional premieres will feature the Icicle Creek Piano Trio, Pacific Rims percussion quartet, violist Melia Watras, and the Seattle Phonographers Union. Highlighted on the program is the premiere of a new work by composer Wayne Horvitz, an inaugural commission by Washington Composers Forum, launching the organization's new commissioning program.

A special evening featuring the more orchestral music of WACO in the beautiful acoustic setting of the Chapel Performance Space at the Good Shepherd Center. Four compositions of Robin Holcomb will be the centerpiece of the evening, along with a piece by Chris Stover and Wayne Horvitz' River of Whiskey, which has only been performed once in Seattle, and features guest clarinetist Beth Fleenor.
